Director dealings: Aveva director makes share purchase

Aveva Group revealed on Friday that non-executive director Peter Herweck had acquired 1,500 ordinary shares in the FTSE-100 listed information technology company.

Herweck, who was appointed to the board of Aveva back in March 2018, bought the shares at an average price of 4,026.0p each, for a total value of £60,390.

Just yesterday, Aveva kept its dividend unchanged as the industrial software company reported a first-half loss caused by tough trading during the Covid-19 crisis.

The Cambridge-based company swung to a £23.2m operating loss for the six months to the end of September from a £25.5m profit a year earlier as revenue fell 15% to £332.6m

As of 1630 GMT, Aveva shares were down 2.69% at 4,050.0p
