Director dealings: Balfour Beatty boss picks up some shares

Balfour Beatty revealed on Thursday that chief executive Leo Quinn had acquired 226,127 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed builder.

Quinn, who took over as CEO back in 2014, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 221.12p each, for a total value of £500,001.62.

Back in August, Balfour Beatty's Gammon joint venture has won a HK$12.9bn (£1.3bn) contract to expand terminal two at Hong Kong International airport.

Gammon, a Hong Kong joint venture with Jardine Matheson, will be responsible for increasing the size of the main terminal 2 building and constructing interconnecting bridges, mechanical and electrical works and viaducts and roads.

As of 1620 BST, Balfour Beatty shares were up 4.26% at 230.0p.
