Director dealings: Barratt CFO makes purchase, MMX shareholder sells down before delisting
Barratt Developments was on the list of director buys on Tuesday, after it disclosed a purchase worth more than £30k made by its chief financial officer.
The FTSE 100 housebuilder said Mike Scott bought 5,000 shares in the company, at a price of 627p each.
That made his purchase worth a total of £31,349.80.
Following that, Barratt said Scott and his associates owned 11,733 of its shares, making him its fourth-largest director shareholder after chief executive David Thomas with 1,196,897 shares, deputy CEO Steven Boyes at 618,644 shares, and chairman John Allen at 82,235 shares.
On the selling side of things, Minds + Machines Group disclosed sales worth more than £70k made by a company linked to one of its non-executive directors.
The AIM-traded company, which was in the process of winding up, said Lombard Odier Asset Management Europe had sold 770,000 shares at 7.8p, for a total of £60,060.
In a second transaction, the same firm sold 163,270 shares for 7.82p each, netting a total of £12,767.71 shares.
Minds + Machines’ non-executive director Henry Turcan is an investment manager at Lombard Odier’s 1798 Volantis hedge fund platform.
The company, which was involved in operating a number of top-level internet domains, sold its operations to the NYSE-traded web giant GoDaddy in 2021 for $120m in cash.
It recently resolved to cancel the trading of its shares, which is scheduled to take place on 22 February, with the board preparing a final distribution to shareholders.
