Director dealings: Big Yellow CEO lowers stake

Big Yellow Group revealed on Monday that chief executive James Gibson had disposed of 100,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed self-storage business.

Gibson, who co-founded the group back in 1998, sold the shares on Friday at an average price of 1,165.24p each, for a total value of £1.16m.

Following the transaction, Gibson and his family hold 2.41m ordinary shares in Big Yellow, representing 1.37% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1650 GMT, Big Yellow shares were down 1.76% at 1,115.0p.
