Director dealings: Chariot acting CEO makes share purchase

Chariot revealed on Wednesday that acting chief executive officer Adonis Pouroulis had acquired 41.3m ordinary shares in the AIM-listed oil and gas producer.

Pouroulis, one of the founders of Chariot and its Namibian operating subsidiary Enigma, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of 5.50p each, for a total value of £2.27m.

Back in March, Chariot agreed to acquire the business of Africa Energy Management Platform (AEMP) for up to $2.0m payable primarily in Chariot shares representing up to 4% of its to-be-enlarged share capital

As of 1645 BST, Chariot shares were up 1.96% at 5.20p.
