Deepverge said on Tuesday that chairman Ross Andrews had acquired 150,000 new ordinary shares in the AIM-listed technology firm.

Andrews, who took over as chairman in March 2017, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of 33.72p each, for a total value of £50,580.

Back in March, Deepverge signed a full technical and commercial agreement with Microsaic Systems.

Deepverge said that under the agreement with its Innovenn subsidiary, Microsaic would supply regulatory-approved, CE-marked, miniaturised mass spectrometry equipment and services on a non-exclusive basis across DeepVerge's global sales, marketing and distribution channels.

As of 1625 BST, Deepverge shares were down 4.48% at 32.0p.
