Director dealings: Derwent London chairman makes share sale

Derwent London revealed on Tuesday that chairman John Burns had disposed of 163,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed property investor and developer.

Burns, who was appointed to the board of Derwent way back in 1984, sold the shares on Monday at an average price of 3,289.26p each, for a total value of £5.36m.

Earlier in November, Derwent said rent collections had improved as it commissioned designers to start work on a major project in London's Baker Street.

Derwent stated office rent collections for the September quarter had risen to 89% from 83% in mid-October and total rent collection had improved to 86% from 80%

As of 1600 GMT, Derwent shares were down 1.03% at 3,276.0p.
