Director dealings: Diversified Energy CEO ups stake

Diversified Energy revealed on Friday that chief executive Rusty Hutson Jr had acquired 250,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed exploration and production firm.

Hutson Jr, who established Diversified Gas & Oil in 2001, purchased the shares on Thursday at an average price of 102.80p each, for a total value of £257,007.51.

Following the transaction, Hutson Jr now holds 21.17m ordinary shares in DEC, representing approximately 2.492% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1625 BST, Diversified Energy shares were down 0.12% at 102.48p.
