Director dealings: Fevertree founders cash in on institution's thirst

The two founders of Fevertree Drinks have sold £17.7m worth of shares in the premium drinks mixers group.

Charles Rolls, who is executive deputy chairman, sold 1.9m shares at 635p apiece, while chief executive Tim Warrilow, dumped 853,816 at the same price. The price is not far from February's all-time high of just under 700p.

The company said the sales were in response to demand from institutional investors.

Rolls still owns 17.4m shares, or 15.1% of the company's shares, while Warrilow has 7.7m, or 6.7% of the total.

Earlier this month, the company, which floated on AIM in November 2014, posted a huge surge in annual profits from £2.5m to £16.8m as revenue grew 71% to £59.3m thanks to a strong performance across its geographical regions. The company declared a final dividend of 2.3p per share.
