Director dealings: Mondi chairman raises stake

Mondi revealed on Wednesday that chairman Philip Yea had acquired 5,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 100-listed paper and packaging group.

Yea, who took over as chair in May 2020, purchased the shares at an average price of 1,772.77p each, for a total value of £88,638.64.

Earlier in October, Mondi reported a jump in third-quarter earnings as it benefitted from higher prices and strong demand.

As of 1620 BST, Mondi shares were up 0.76% at 1,788.0p.
