Director dealings: Ophir's interim CEO ups stake

Ophir Energy's interim chief executive Alan Booth purchased 100,000 ordinary shares in the firm on Thursday.

Booth, who is running things at Ophir ahead of its relocation to Asia, acquired the shares at an average cost of 3,715p for a total disbursement of £3.71m.

Ophir announced on Thursday that it will "significantly downsize" its presence in London ahead of its transitioning into being an Asia-led firm.

Ophir was also planning to move its headquarters to Asia in order to support the firm's new cash generative production and development-focused strategy rather than exploration based opportunities.

As of 1530 BST, Ophir shares were flat on 38p.
