Director dealings: Outgoing Persimmon CEO lowers stake

Persimmon revealed on Monday that chief executive David Jenkinson had sold 50,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 100-listed housebuilding company.

Jenkinson, who joined Persimmon in 1997, disposed of the shares on Thursday at an average price of 2,621.67p, for a total value of £1.31m.

Back in June, Persimmon recruited National Express chief executive Dean Finch as the housebuilder's next CEO to replace Jenkinson.

Finch is expected to join the FTSE 100 company at the end of 2020 after more than 10 years in charge at National Express.

As of 1630 BST, Persimmon shares were down 0.57% at 2,614p.
