Director dealings: Silence Therapeutics CFO lowers stake

Silence Therapeutics revealed on Tuesday that chief financial officer Rob Quinn had offloaded of 89,054 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed biotechnology group.

Quinn, who took over as CFO back in April 2019, sold the shares in two separate transactions - disposing of 15,942 ordinary shares on Thursday at an average price of 429.21p and a further 73,112 shares on Monday at an average price of 398.04p on Monday.

In total, Quinn collected £359,439.67 from the share sale.

Back in January, Silence updated the market on the year ended 31 December, reporting that it has entered into a technology evaluation agreement with Takeda to explore the potential of using its platform to generate siRNA molecules against a novel, undisclosed target discovered by Takeda.

As of 1630 BST, Silence shares were up 1.47% at 415p.
