Director dealings: SLA director ups stake

Standard Life Aberdeen revealed on Wednesday that non-executive director Jonathan Asquith had acquired 30,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 100-listed asset manager.

Asquith, who was appointed to the board of SLA in September 2019, purchased the shares on Tuesday at an average price of 296.26p each, for a total value of £88,878.

Standard Life Aberdeen reported adjusted profit before tax of £487.0m Tuesday, down from £584.0m as fee-based revenue declined to £1.42bn from £1.63bn, largely reflecting the impact of 2019 outflows.

As of 1630 GMT, SLA shares were down 2.76% at 290.50p.
