Director dealings: Tritax EuroBox director invests £50k, Lok'n Store's Holmes makes another sale

Tritax EuroBox was on the list of director buys on Wednesday, as it disclosed a purchase worth almost £50k by one of its non-executive directors.

The FTSE 250 company said Robert Orr had bought 48,000 shares on the London Stock Exchange, at 103.1p each.

That valued the transaction at £49,489.92.

Orr’s purchase came on the same day Tritax EuroBox conditionally agreed the acquisition of a €144.26m (£121.12m) prime logistics asset in Roosendaal, the Netherlands, from one of its development and asset management partners Logistics Capital Partners (LCP).

The FTSE 250 logistics-focussed property investor said the asset is pre-let to a “top four” global discount supermarket retail group.

Once complete, the asset would comprise a single property divided into three units, built in three phases.

On the selling side of the ledger was Lok’n Store Group, which also reported a non-executive director transaction.

The self-storage operator said Richard Holmes had sold 5,000 shares, at a price of 1,000p each, netting him £50,000 in the process.

It said that as a result, Holmes' beneficial interest was now 290,606 of its shares, representing 0.97 percent of ots total voting rights.

Holmes has sold down his holding in several transactions in the last 10 days, offloading 4,000 shares for 981p each on 14 February, 4,000 shares for 1,003p each on 11 February, and 4,000 shares for 1,030p each on 7 February.
