Director dealings: Wizz Air CEO makes share sale

Wizz Air said on Friday that chief executive Jozsef Varadi had disposed of 75,000 ordinary shares in the London-listed airline.

Varadi, who offloaded the shares via his interest in Vaxco Holdings, sold the shares on Thursday at an average price of 3,755.0p each, for a total value of £2.81m.

Earlier in the week, Varadi said Wizz was looking to expand its new base at Gatwick airport to 20 planes from a starting point of one within a year, assuming it can obtain enough takeoff and landing slots.

As of 1630 BST, Wizz shares were flying 1.94% higher at 3,892.0p.
