Directors dealings: BAE Systems non-exec picks up some shares

Elizabeth Corley, a non-executive director at BAE Systems, picked up a hefty amount of shares in the aerospace manufacturer at the end of the week.

On Friday Corley purchased 10,000 ordinary shares at an individual price of 511p each.

In a research note published on 24 June, analysts at Goldman Sachs estimated that each 1.0% move in cable would have a 1.19% impact on BAE System´s earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation.

As predicted, the company´s shares were one of the few that managed to more than recover from the losses incurred in the immediate aftermath of Brexit as the pound lost value.
