Directors dealings: Carclo finance chief picks up shares

Carclo´s finance chief, Robert Brookshank, bought into the company´s shares even as they approached their 52-week lows.

Brookshank picked up 27,000 shares on 17 November at an individual price of 120.0p, the company said in a statement, boosting his holdings in the firm to 0.373% of its issued share capital.

Mrs Desiree Slabbert, the spouse of one the LED optical designer, developer and manufacturer´s non-executive directors, Peter Slabbert purchased another 20,000 shares for a price of 119.37p per share.

They were preceded by the chairman of the company, Michael Derbyshire, who in the previous session picked up 10,000 shares for 124.75 each, alongside Robert Nickman, another non-executive director, who bought 10,000 shares at a price of 122.25p each.

On 15 November, analysts at Finncap bumped up their recommendation on the stock from 'hold' to 'buy', saying that "following recent under performance the shares now offer reasonable upside".
