Directors dealings: Telford Homes Land Directors sells down

Telford Homes's Land Director reduced his own holdings in the company's stock towards the end of the week.

James Henry Furlong sold 50,000 shares at an individual price of 356p, for a total transaction amount of £178,000, on 16 February, the company said in a statement.

That followed the purchase by the residential property developer of the former London Electricity Board building in east London for £30.2m in order to build affordable new homes.

On 9 January, analysts at Peel Hunt trimmed their target price on the shares of the AIM-listed outfit from 485.0p to 465.0p, albeit whilst reiterating their 'buy' recommendation.

"Its sector leading forward sales provides excellent visibility on profit delivery. This underpins the group’s output growth targets and we forecast PBT growth of c60% by March 2019," they said.

As of 1529 GMT, shares in Telford Homes were drifting lower by 0.21% to 353.0p, not far below their 52-week high of 371.25p and towards the lower end of their trading range of the past four years.
