Learning Technologies Group sells shares to pay for house renovations

There have been a few director dealings for Learning Technologies Group on Tuesday.

The company revealed on Wednesday that chief executive Jonathan Satchell cashed up 3.175m shares for a total of £730,250 to pay for a “personal property renovation”. However it’s only a fraction of his stake in the company, still holding nearly 27% of shares after the sale.

Deputy chairman Harry Hill acquired 165,000 shares for a total value of £38,577, while chief operating officer Dale Solomon exercised 240,000 of his nearly two million options and promptly sold them for £55,200.

The Ice Blue Directors Pension Scheme also picked up another small stake in LXB Retail Properties. The scheme, of which company director John Irvine is a trustee and beneficiary, now hold 3,777,569 shares in the company – a 2.06% interest that’s slowly rising.
