Mitchells & Butlers CEO picks up some shares

Animalcare Group’s Chairman, James Lambert, dumped 54,000 shares in the veterinary medicines supplier at 222p each.

The sale brought his holding down to 1.3m shares, or 6.2%.

Elsewhere, Mitchells & Butlers’ chief executive officer Phil Urban purchased 18,706 shares in the pub operator at 318.75p each.

The deal brought his holding in company up to 31,306 shares.

Chenavari Capital Solutions’ new chairman Robert King and two non-executive directors made their first share purchases.

King, who took on the role in October, picked up 30,000 shares at 92.25p each, while Rene Mouchotte purchased 5,000 shares at 91.99p each and Iain Stokes bought 40,000 at 92.25p.
