Ilika's new chairman has fronted up with the cash and bought a stake in the company which he's now leading.

Mike Inglis was officially elected to the board of the company on 30 September and appointed non-executive chairman after the retirement of Jack Boyer OBE after 11 years in the role.

On Wednesday Inglis bought his first stake in the company, buying 65,000 shares for a total of just under £50,000.

As a result, he now owns a fraction under 0.1% of the company.

Meanwhile Netcall chairman Michael Jackson took home a tidy mid-week bonus of just under £250,000 as he sold over a third of his stake.

Jackson still holds 800,000 shares, representing 0.58% of the company’s issued share capital.
