Property Franchise Group chairman cuts stake ahead of MPC meeting

The non-executive chairman of The Property Franchise Group sold a large slice of his holdings two days before the Monetary Policy Committee was due to announce its latest policy decision.

On 2 November, Richard Martin sold 1.0m shares at 300.0p each outside a trading venue for a total transaction amount of £3.0m, the company said.

Following the sale, Martin was left with a holding of roughly of 7.04m shares, representing 22% of the issued share capital in the multi-brand lettings and estate agency.
