Rolls-Royce’s senior independent director Lewis Booth bought 20,000 shares in the aerospace and engineering firm at 613.00p per share, lifting his total holding to 60,000 shares.
Earlier in the week, investors welcomed the company’s plans for a “major restructuring” as it unveiled the results of new chief executive Warren East’s operational review.
RR said the restructure will “simplify the organisation, streamline senior management, reduce fixed costs and add greater pace and accountability to decision making”.
Also on Friday, IGas Energy said its chief financial officer Julian Tedder has purchased his first shares in the company.
He bought 140,000 shares at 17.4p each.
Tedder is new to the role, which he took on at the end of September, having previously worked at Centrica and Tullow Oil.
Finally, G4S’s chief executive Ashley Almanza bought 50,000 shares in the outsourcer at 223.30p per share, bringing his holding to 150,000 shares.
