Rotala chairman increases stake in company
Updated : 16:20
Rotala’s chairman has purchased another 113,000 shares in the company through his family trust.
The Gunn Family Charitable Trust, for which chairman John Gunn is a beneficiary, bought the shares on Wednesday for a total sum of £85,880.
It takes Gunn’s direct beneficial interest in the company to 16.11%, as well as a total direct and indirect interest of 24.16%.
Chief executive Simon Dunn also topped up his stake with a small purchase on the same day.
He bought 5,013 shares for just under £3,800, taking his total shareholding to 1,413,170 shares, for a stake of 3.72%.
It comes a couple of weeks after Rotala announced it had purchased OFJ Connections’ Heathrow operations for £1.3m, which is estimated to have revenues of approximately £5.5m.
OFJ deals with the movement of crew for a large number of airlines from their aircraft to their hotels and other destinations, including Gatwick airport.
Rotala said it plans to fully integrate the business with its existing business in the Heathrow area.
As part of the agreement, it will also acquire a vehicle fleet valued at £0.65m, but has not assumed any other assets or liabilities.
