The British economy would be harmed if voters chose to leave the EU in the referendum on June 23, Finance Minister George Osborne told parliament in his Budget speech on Wednesday.

Osborne, who is in favour of the UK remaining in the EU, said he agreed with the Office for Budgetary Responsibility that Britain would be be "safer, stronger and more secure" if voters chose to remain with "negative implications" if the 'No' vote was successful.
