Tech giant Apple unveiled new versions of several of their iconic devices on Tuesday, launching four new 5G-enabled iPhones and multiple updates to the iPad and Apple Watch.
The Californian firm's iPhone 13 will contain a new A15 Bionic chip, a system-on-a-chip designed in-house and a video tool called "cinematic mode", which will allow users to lock in focus on a subject even when it is on the move.
Chief executive Tim Cook said the new line-up contained the iPhone's "biggest camera system advancement yet".
Apple's more expensive Pro and Pro Max iPhone models will have three back-facing cameras and now include a 120Hz display that it calls ProMotion.
The event also revealed two updates to the iPad, including the first redesign of the iPad Mini since 2019 and a ninth-generation iPad with improved processors, while Apple also unveiled a new version of its Watch, which "has been completely re-engineered" to reduce the borders to just 1.7 millimetres.
At the close, Apple shares were down 0.96% at $148.12 each.
