CaixaBank launches new online broker, consolidates leadership in online banking
New broker has been designed working together with clients to guarantee the best user experience.

Barcelona, 29 December 2015 – CaixaBank has improved Bolsa Abierta, its online broker, tailoring it to the needs of its different client profiles and making investing more accessible to everyone, both for those who invest frequently as well as those who wish to do so less.
Chaired by Isidro Fainé and with Gonzalo Gortázar as chief executive officer, over 1.5m clients have opened accounts to trade financial securities through CaixaBank.
CaixaBank channels more than 70% of its clients' stock transactions via the internet. The service allows for transactions 24 hours a day using any of its digital platforms, through web, mobile or a tablet.
Over 400 clients took part in new broker design phase
More than 400 clients took part in the design phase for the newest version of Bolsa Abierta. Their contribution was invaluable in helping to define and design the new platform so that it meets the needs of all its different types of users.
As a result of this co-creative process, Bolsa Abierta provides a new and unique user experience. The opinions of its clients, combined with the possibilities afforded by the newest technologies, allowed CaixaBank to offer every client a customised solution, providing each one with all the information pertaining to the best services suited to their level of activity. That helped to simplify the functionality of its online broker and made more readily available to clients all the financial information they needed.
The new Bolsa Abierta offers a much more innovative interface and browsing system and has built into it the latest enhancements in terms of usability to deliver a more intuitive way of browsing and carrying out transactions. Moreover, it simplifies the shopping and selling features, incorporates predictive tools that offer suggestions to users when they are searching through different securities, includes more technical and fundamental analysis and offers clients advanced graphs.
