McDonald's to open 700 UK locations for dine-in business

McDonald's will open up hundreds of locations across the UK for dine-in business this week.
The fast-food giant will open up roughly 700 locations across Britain from Wednesday, with some of the franchises participating in chancellor Rishi Sunak's "Eat Out to Help Out" scheme.
Sunak's scheme, which allows everyone in England to claim 50% off their meals when dining in participating restaurants, comes with a maximum discount of £10 off per meal and will only apply on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Customers at McDonald's will be served at their tables, while orders will be placed via the chain's app or at the tills and kiosks on site.
McDonald's will not open any of its locations in Wales, where eating in is still restricted.
