SpaceX added yet another 60 Starlink satellites to its existing constellation in orbit on Wednesday following their launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

The mission used a Falcon 9 rocket with a flight-proven booster that had already served on five previous launches.

It was the fourth Starlink launch in under a month with the company having already sent a total of 240 satellites over just three weeks.

SpaceX said it wanted to launch 1,500 Starlink satellites in 2021, and at the current launch pace, it looked on track to hit that target.

Starlink’s long-term goal was to have 10,000 or more active satellites in low-Earth orbit, but the short-term goal was to continue expanding the geographic coverage of its broadband internet service to more countries and customers.

Starlink could become a massive revenue driver for SpaceX once it’s fully operational.
