Assange promises Wikileaks revelations as US election approaches

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has said that his organisation will be publishing secret information connected to the US presidential election, which is just over a month away.
The political leaks website celebrates its 10th anniversary this week, and Assange was speaking to a conference in Berlin via a video link in London, where he remains under the protection of the Ecuadorian embassy.
Assange said that Wikileaks would be publishing new information every week in the lead up to the election on November 8.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is up against Republican candidate Donald Trump, and reports suggest that potentially damaging information surrounding her campaign could be released.
"We are going to need an army to defend us from the pressure that is already starting to arise," Assange, 45, during the conference.
He has been staying in the Ecuadorian embassy in London since 2012, as he faced extradition to Sweden for a sexual assault charge, and feared further extradition to the United States.
