Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, known to be a staunch advocate of cryptocurrencies, called bitcoin "the most amazing mathematical miracle" during the Jalisco Talent Land Digital 2021 event, reports Mexico's 'El Sol' newspaper.
In addition, he considered that the emblematic cryptocurrency is more valuable than gold, since the precious metal "has to be looked for and is limited." Although the 70-year-old tech entrepreneur does not personally invest in the leading cryptocurrency, he is convinced that it has a place in the future.
Wozniak has been an ardent advocate for bitcoin for years. Back in June 2018 he said that he wanted it to become a single world currency. "I do not invest in bitcoin, but I believe in it for the future," said Wozniak during a meeting with young Mexicans at the aforementioned event.
In December, he launched his own crypto company called Efforce.
During the recent event, the computer engineering legend also said that artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) could improve people's lives. "I hope that all this changes people's lives for the better and that the human experience is better because of it, but I don't see myself investing in it," he said.
