China to see 'mid to high level growth' for some time, says premier

China will continue to see "mid- to high-level growth" for some time yet, the country's premier said on Sunday.
Speaking during a visit to South Korea, Li Keqiang pointed to growth having been been maintained at almost 7%.
"The Chinese economy will maintain a mid- to high-level of growth for quite some time in the future," the Premier was quoted as saying by the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"We will firmly pursue restructuring and reform. There may be fluctuations in economic indicators, but there will not be major ones."
He continued: "China possesses a large market, and it has potential, in particular, the consumption potential has not been fully realised. We believe Chinese consumption is at half [capacity]. There is still a lot of room.
"You may have seen reports that the Chinese economy is continuously slowing, but when you look at the figures, the rate is gradually falling."
He added that the decline was only natural given the increased scale of the economy.
The latest available data showed China grew 6.9% in the third quarter compared to the same period a year earlier.
