Danish police shut off access to Copenhagen

Danish police cut off access to the island of Zeland, where the country's capital, Copenhagen, is located, as part of a major police operation.

According to the Associated Press, bridges to the island of Funen and Sweden were also closed-off, as well as ferry crossings to Germany and Sweden.

Citing local press reports, AP said the operation might be linked to a kidnapping.
