ECB keeps rates unchanged

The European Central Bank has kept its main policy settings unchanged.

The main refinancing rate, its main policy tool, was kept at 0.05%, as expected by analysts.

Likewise, the marginal lending rate and the deposit facility were unchanged at 0.30% and -0.20%.

As of 12:51 euro/dollar was 0.62% lower at 1.0882.
