ECB to increase funding for Greek banks, report says

The European Central Bank will reportedly increase its funding to Greek banks under its Emergency Liquidity Assistance (ELA) facility.

The ECB will increase its liquidity provision to the Mediterranean country's lenders by €1.1bn to reach €80bn, according to a report citing Bloomberg News which cites sources.

Greek banks are said to have a buffer of €3.5bn, the report adds.
