Eurozone core consumer prices miss forecasts in March

Core consumer prices in the single currency area rose by less than expected in February.

On the basis of that measure, the cost of living increased by 0.6% year-on-year, according to Eurostat.

That was a tenth of a percentage point lower than in the prior month.

The consensus forecast was for a rise of 0.7%.
