Eurozone producer prices slip in November

Eurozone producer prices slipped 0.2% in November from October, according to figures released by Eurostat, in line with economists’ expectations.

On the year, producer prices fell 3.2% compared with forecasts for a 3.1% drop.

Meanwhile, an earlier reading showing prices slid 3.1% in October was revised down to 3.2%.

Excluding energy, prices fell 0.7% in November from a year ago.

Energy prices slid 9.4%, while prices for intermediate goods and non-durable consumer goods were down 2% and 0.3%, respectively.
