Eurozone service sector unexpectedly cools in September

The Eurozone's service sector cooled slightly unexpectedly in September.

The headline gauge slipped to a reading of 52.4 from 52.8 in the month before. Economists had been expecting a flat reading.

The gauges tracking the Italian and French service sectors both undershot expectations.
