Eurozone unemployment edges higher in September

Unemployment in the Eurozone grew slightly more than expected in September, according to figures published on Friday.

In a report, the European Union statistical office indicated the unemployment rate last month rose to 11.8% from an upwardly revised 10.9% reading in the previous month.

Analysts had expected an 11% reading.
