Eurozone unemployment rate lowest since 2011 in September

The eurozone unemployment rate was steady in September at its lowest level in more than five years, according to the latest figures from Eurostat, in line with analysts’ expectations.
The unemployment rate came in at 10%, unchanged from a downwardly-revised 10% the month before, and down from 10.6% in September last year. Eurostat’s previous estimate for August was 10.1%.
September's was the lowest rate recorded in the bloc since June 2011.
In the EU-28 group of countries, the rate was stable at 8.5% and down from 9.2% in September 2015.
Among the member states, the lowest unemployment rates were seen in the Czech Republic and Germany, with the highest rates in Greece and Spain.
