Fed's Kaplan says he may have to adjust his views

One of the more 'hawkish' US central bank officials said he might need to adjust his views on monetary policy should the Delta variant of Covid-19 drag on the economy too much.

The head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Robert Kaplan, reportedly also said that it was unfolding quickly and while not yet having a big impact it was hurting firms' ability to find workers due to fears of possible infection.
