IMF does not want to participate in third bail-out for Greece

Following the Eurogroup’s meeting on Monday in Brussels, the International Monetary Fund reportedly made clear it did not want to participate in a third bailout for Greece, that could be valued at €50bn.
The Washington-based lender was said to be irked by the absence of effective measures to deal with the country’s deficit and some decisions made over the past weeks –such as the reinstatement of public sector employees- leaving the European Central Bank and the European Commission as Greece’s main international creditors.

The news came just a day after Yanis Varoufakis, the Greek Finance minister admitted that his country's liquidity problem is a “terribly urgent issue”. “It’s common knowledge, let’s not beat around the bush…we are talking about the next couple of weeks,” he said.
On Monday, the Mediterranean country paid €754m owed to the fund.
