Japanese exports grew 6.9% in September, beating forecasts

Japanese exports rose by 6.9% in September in year-on-year terms according to figures released by the Ministry of Finance.
The consensus estimate had been for a rise of 6.5%.
Imports on the other hand increased at a 6.2% clip in year-on-year terms.
