The Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China disagree on the sanctions being imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to Interfax, citing media sources

Reports earlier in the day indicated that Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov, had abandoned the talks in Laussane, Switzerland, where the talks were being held, until a “realistic understanding of a deal” is in sight.

For some observers, the report comes amid worries that either side might try to pressure the other - ahead of a 31 March deadline - through hard-line threats disseminated via the international press.
