Spanish industrial production shrinks slightly in February
Spanish industrial production shrank slightly in February, led by drops in output of energy and capital goods.
Factory output edged lower by 0.2% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms, according to the country's statistics office, INE.
In comparison with the month before, production of non-durable goods was flat, while that of intermediate ones dipped 0.3%, alongside falls in the output of both durable and capital goods of 0.7%.
Energy output was down by 1.1% month-on-month versus January.
