Texas factory activity worsened slightly in October, Dallas Fed says

Output at factories in Texas continued to grow in October albeit at a slightly reduced pace, the results of an official survey showed.
A sub-index linked to companies' level of production fell from a reading of 9.3 for September to 6.0 in October.
Another sub-index for general business activity meanwhile slipped from -17.2 to -19.4, for a sixth consecutive decline.
The sub-index for new orders weakened further, from -6.4 to -8.8
So too that tracking the number of hours worked, which declined from 17.1 to 15.0.
However, the sub-index linked to the prices paid by firms for raw materials ebbed from 37.1 to 32.0 and that for employment improved to 17.1 from 15.0.
The sub-index for companies' outlook meanwhile rose from -10.7 to -9.1.
That for uncertainty around the outlook on the other hand worsened from 27.2 to 38.3.
