With just a month to go before Britain votes on whether to remain part of the EU, or not, yet another opinion poll has put the remain campaign in front of the leave, this time thanks to a marked shift in sentiment among Tory voters.

The latest Opinium/Observer referendum poll puts the so-called Bremain camp at 44%, four points ahead of so-called Brexit group at 40%, The Guardian has reported. Of those polled, 14% remained undecided.

It further revealed that 48% of Conservative voters now favoured UK remaining in the single-currency bloc, with 41% wanting a departure, the newspaper reported.

This was a significant shift from the Opinium/Observer referendum poll's April figures, which showed 44% of Tories were for Brexit and 39% were for Bremain.
