Trump campaign to step up attacks on Bill Clinton

US presidential candidate Donald Trump is set to intensify his verbal attacks on Bill Clinton in the coming weeks as he aims to win back supporters from Hillary Clinton after a disastrous week of released recordings and allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct.
In an election which has stooped to unprecedented levels of mudslinging and insults, Bloomberg has reported that a senior campaigner referred to the former president as a "violent sexual predator", and that his wife had intimidated his alleged victims.
"She's led a program of victim intimidation," Steve Bannon, CEO of Trump's campaign is reported to have said. "This has nothing to do with consensual sexual affairs and infidelities. This is Bill."
"We're going to turn him into Bill Cosby," he added. "He's a violent sexual predator who physically abuses women who he assaults. And she takes the lead on the intimidation of the victims."
Trump was caught up in major controversy last weekend as a leaked tape showed him bragging about sexual assault, before a series of allegations were made against him by women this week.
The New York billionaire has previously held a press conference with three women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct, just hours before the second televised debate.
The third and final debate will take place next Wednesday in Las Vegas, with the election now less than a month away.
