Brexit deal may be ready by early November - Bloomberg

A Brexit deal could be ready by early November after progress made by negotiators in unblocking disagreements on maintaining a s0-called 'level playing field' between the UK and the European Union.

Citing people familiar with the discussions, Bloomberg reported that progress on resolving some of the biggest differences between the two sides had been made over the past week.

That, they said, had raised hopes that a deal might be crafted by early November.

Work was near finished on the text of the agreement concerning state aid and the two sides were now closer over how to enforce any deal on the matter.

Yet as of 1442 GMT, sterling remained 0.49% weaker against the US dollar at 1.2980, having fallen as low as 1.2917 shortly before.
